Fellowship

We enjoy being together and these are some of our traditions:

Cookie Sunday:  The first Sunday of every month after worship, we have a spread of coffee and refreshments in the fellowship hall. Christian Education classes typically do not meet on this Sunday to allow time for fellowship.

Open Mic Night: Each winter, we take an evening and enjoy the many musical and writing talents of our members.

Annual Retreat Weekend: In the fall, we spend a retreat weekend at Kirkmont Center in Zanesfield. We do not have services at the church on that weekend (usually the last weekend in September), but instead, encourage everyone to head to the camp for relaxation and fun. A talent show, which includes everything from piano solos to silly skits, is held on Saturday night. Sunday morning worship is held before heading home.

Knottting Party & Soup-er Pie Fund Raiser: Our Piecemakers group makes comforters for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and hosts this evening where all members are invited to come and have fun tying the knots and eating a good meal. Donations from the meal fundraiser are used to purchase supplies to make the comforters. In March 2024, we knotted 45 comforters in one weekend. Piecemakers donated 290 comforters to MCC in July 2024.

Come and join us and learn to know us better during one of our times of fellowship!
