We enjoy being together and these are some of our traditions:
Cookie Sunday: The first Sunday of every month between worship and Christian Education we have a spread of coffee and refreshments in the fellowship hall.
Open Mic Night: Each winter we take an evening and enjoy the many musical and writing talents of our members.
Annual Retreat Weekend: In the fall, we spend a retreat weekend at Camp Luz in Kidron, Ohio. We do not have services at the church on that weekend (usually the last weekend in September), but instead, encourage everyone to head northeast for relaxation and fun. A talent show, which includes everything from piano solos to silly skits, is held on Saturday night. Sunday morning worship is held in the Camp Luz Chapel.
Knottting Party: Our Piecemakers group makes comforters for Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) and hosts this evening where all members are invited to come and have fun tying the knots and eating a good meal. In March 2016, we knotted over 50 comforters in one weekend. (Piecemakers donated over 160 comforters to MCC in June 2016.)
Come and join us and learn to know us better during one of our times of fellowship!
