Comparisons and Contrasts:  Resuscitation vs. Resurrection

Resuscitation Resurrection
Everything about the person is the same as before death. Everything about the person is altered, even though some continuity remains with what one was before death. The resurrected shine like stars (Daniel 12:3) and will be like the angels (Mark 12:25).
The person dies again later in life. The person does not die again.
A human being may be the agent, or intermediary, of God. Someone prays and God revives the dead person. God acts without human agency or intercession.
