Exorcism is widely practiced by many people. Exorcism is rarely practiced, and only by a few select people.
Exorcism is an important part of treating illness. Exorcism is almost never a component of treating illness.
Exorcism is perceived as normal and natural. Exorcism is perceived as weird and scary.
Reality is thought to be both material and spiritual. Some spirits are evil, some are good. Reality is thought to be only material. There may be mental illness, but no spirits.
